Dear Diary,

I just got off the phone with Zayda, who was very upset. She told me that she just found out her parents passed away while they were out at The Blue Velvet. Her grandparents won’t give her any details about what happened. They just keep saying there was an accident and leave it at that. Zayda also told me she has to move to San Myshuno to live with her grandparents. I’m going to miss being able to just walk down the street to visit her.

Naturally, Zayda won’t be at school for a little while. However, once she’s back she wants me to help her find out what happened. She is determined to get to the real story, no matter what.

Dear Diary,

Something very strange happened today while I was in the computer lab during break time. I was looking up an artist on DeviantSim when a window suddenly popped up with the message, “I see you!” I asked around and it seems like only my computer was targeted. Whatever it was, I know it wasn’t a pop-up from DeviantSim. So strange.

Dear Diary,

Yuki Yoshida and her mom moved to an apartment in the San Myshuno art district recently. They had to move into the city because her mom got promoted in her political career. She says the new place is really nice and much bigger than she thought it would be, but there’s a ghost who roams around at night and it really freaks her out!

Dear Diary,

Clementine and Zayda were fighting today. We were watching our favourite movie and then Clem started picking on Zayda out of nowhere. She was saying that Zayda has a crush on Quince and that’s the only reason why she goes over to Clem’s house. They’re not talking to each other right now, so I can’t hang out with them both at the same time anymore. It’s so childish.

Dear Diary,

My mom did something completely out of character tonight. She went out for dinner with her twin sister and came back with a crayon drawing of a barn, which she placed on my wall. She told me she drew it just for me while she was waiting for Aunt Jayla to come back from the washroom. It was super weird! How much did she have to drink?!

Dear Diary,

My grandparents are always hugging and cuddling, but my parents are very different. They never spend much time together and lately I’ve noticed they barely even notice when they’re both in the same room. I don’t know if it’s because my parents are so focused on their careers or if there’s something wrong. I really hope I’m just being paranoid. After all, not every couple has to be the lovey-dovey type like my grandparents, right?
