Celeste: “Oh good, you’re finally up. You found the clothes I left you, I see.”

Jaina: “Um, yeah. Thanks.”

Celeste: “Have a seat, please. We have a lot to talk about… Now, you’re going to begin to feel queasy in a few days. You’re going to go through some changes while you turn. It’s quite a slow, drawn-out process. You’re going to go shift through several different moods as well. It looks as though you already figured out that part, though. You are strangely perky this morning.”

Jaina: “Yep! I went to bed with a soul-crushing depression and woke up feeling fresh as a daisy. I’m still upset, yet I’m smiling happily.”

Celeste: “Yes, it’s quite refreshing. I’m glad your mournful face will stop depressing my son.”

Dorian: “This dish looks delightful! What is it you called it again?”

Jaina: “It’s a salad.”

Dorian: “Ah, yes! Salad! It’s so full of colour and life!”

Jaina: “Why haven’t you heard of that before?”

Dorian: “When you’ve a demon and vampire hybrid since birth, you don’t really eat things like this.”

Jaina: “Oh, I see.”

Dorian: “I know what might cheer you up!”

Jaina: “I find that hard to believe.”

Dorian: “What you need is a comfortable place to rest and a good book. That always does the trick for me.”

Jaina: *sigh*

Dorian: “Your name is Jaina, right? I’m glad to see they finally let you out of your cage.”

Jaina: “But I’m not out of my cage! I’m still trapped with no escape. I’m also starving. Please tell me that there’s something to eat here and that I’m not going to starve to death.”

Dorian: “Of course you won’t! I’ll take you to our kitchen.”
