I’m still getting used to an undisguised Adalyn. The Parenthood pack broke her disguise and she was left with just her alien look. Maybe I’ll finally adjust soon because it’s Adalyn’s day today. =p

I put Porcelain on lunch-making duty for the kids because she was the only one left awake to make them. Everyone else had long since gone to bed.
Porcelain is finally back to her pretty blue self in the legacy save. The blue Porcelain during the bit about the mirror was pre-PlantSim Porcelain.
This could have been a cute family dinner scene. No one could seem to decide what to do with Kale despite me asking them several times to put him in his chair. Porcelain, meanwhile, decided that hanging out alone in the playroom was a much better use of her time. Those Sims, I tells ya. >_>
Kyra setting the table while granny Adalyn cooks dinner. =)
Adalyn lost the disguise we have all come to know and love. The game thinks her alien appearance is both her normal appearance and her disguise since picking out clothes for the twins, so that’s fun…. =/
As must as I hated to do it, I aged up the twins so that I can finally check out the new activities available for children.
Kelsi: “Judging by his future appearance, Kale is approved to restart your colony.”
Elliot: “Great!”
Kelsi: “The laws will be more strict this time. If your family fails to create a suitable heir during his generation, they will be plucked from the planet and sent to prison.”
Porcelain: “We understand.”
Kelsi: “I certainly hope you do. Prison is no place for soft aliens like yourselves, Cloud family.”
Kelsi: “This is The Mirror.”
Elliott: “Wow, it’s kind of impressive.”
Kelsi: “Please place Kale in front of the mirror.”
Porcelain: “Right here?”
Kelsi: “Yes, that’s perfect. Now, unless you want to see what you’ll look like when you’re an elder, kindly step away out of the mirror’s sight.”
Elliott: “Is this thing broken? It isn’t doing an- oh! There we go! …Wait, is he in a hot dog costume?”
Kelsi: “Yes, that’s just how it works and we’re not sure why yet. It’s one of The Mirror’s many mysteries.”
Kelsi: “Mr. and Mrs. Cloud, I hope you understand how seriously we take colonization here.”
Porcelain: “I’ve heard a bit about it, yes.”
Kelsi: “Then you should know that the Cloud family is guilty of uniformity, desaturation, and repetition. These are all offenses that are punishable by law.”
Porcelain: “Oh… No, I didn’t know that much.”
Kelsi: “It was recommended to me that we put Kale up to The Mirror and let his genetics be the final deciding factor on what we’re to do with you all.”
Porcelain: “The Mirror?”
Kelsi: “Yes. You’re not familiar with it?”
Elliott: “No.”
Kelsi: “It will show us what Kale will look like when he has grown up. It is a reflection of the future itself!”
