Alice: Goodbye, little sister. I’d say don’t forget about us while you’re gone, but you probably will anyways.

Lylli: Yep, it’s true. When I leave, I’m going to forget for sure. It’s not on purpose though, I swear!

Alice: You should give Lylith a hug this time before you leave. I know she’d never admit it, but she really does want one too.

Lylith: Did you figure out where you went wrong?

Lylli: Yes, I remember now thanks to a little help from Alice. I trusted a dragon disguised as a human in Universe 564-B.

Lylith: You’re being sent back out there again as a different person this time. Ilyesa thinks there’s something very important hiding there.

Lylli: Can you please sneak in some signs to make things go a little smoother this time? I really don’t want to get cooked to a crisp and eaten again.

Lylith: No.

Alice: Look, I know you’re having a rough time with your missions because you keep dying in weird ways. However, you’ve got to keep going back until you can gather enough information for Ilyesa.

Lylli: That’s a little hard when I have to keep learning a new universe’s rules all over again. Not to mention the fact that I can’t remember anything about who I really am when I reach most places. And then, just when I think I’m understanding the world, I get killed. Why can’t you or Lylith go in my place for once?

Alice: I wish I could go in your place. It used to be my job, in fact. I’d get into all kinds of crazy trouble and I had a blast! However, Lylith and I have been told to stay put until she gets back and gives us more instructions. We’ll both keep watching over you from here until then.

Lylli: There was fire everywhere! My face felt like it was…ugh. I remember crawling to try and get away. It all goes dark after that.

Alice: I’m sorry to say that your so-called boyfriend set you on fire and ate you. It was pretty gross.

Lylli: And you just sat here and watched me get eaten? You didn’t think to try and stop him?

Alice: You’re new to this, but you’re not that new. You should know the rules by now. I cannot intervene no matter how I might feel. All I can do is observe.

Lylli: Once we had started dating, he would take me to all these cool places I had never heard of before. He also knew exactly what to say to make me melt like butter.

Alice: Uh huh. And you never suspected anything? You never saw the signs that you might be in trouble?

Lylli: Suspect him of what, exactly? What are you talking about? He treated me like a princess!

Alice: Okay, then. Keep telling me how you remember it.

Lylli: *sigh* Okay. So anyways, we dated for about four months.

Lylli: I don’t remember what happened to me. Why won’t you just tell me?

Alice: It’s more beneficial for you to try and re-trace your steps. You can remember more than you think and it will help you when you go back. Trust me.

Lylli: Um…It was just another day like any other. I remember sitting by my favourite fountain. It was the one near the cafe I went to every evening.

Alice: And…?

Lylli: And then I saw him. He was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
