“Well, I hung around at reception most of the day drinking coffee and eating sandwiches. I also washed my hands a couple of times and made a bed. My boss said that if I continue to do such good work again tomorrow, I might be promoted. I don’t think those doctors really know what they’re doing over there.”
“I hope my first day at the station is that easy.”
“Can you do me a favour? Could you maybe you could show these children to their waiting rooms instead of standing here chatting?”
“I would, but my check list for the day said I should grab a cup of coffee and complain abut work. I’m just an intern, so that’s all I have to do right now.”
