Josie: “There doesn’t seem to be much to look at down here. Let’s check upstairs.”
Jaina: “Uh, yeah. Okay.”
Josie: “There doesn’t seem to be much to look at down here. Let’s check upstairs.”
Jaina: “Uh, yeah. Okay.”
Josie: “Well, you’re right about there being a light on, but it looks pretty abandoned to me!”
Jaina: “Ugh, gross!”

Josie: “This has gotta be the place!”
Jaina: “It doesn’t look very abandoned to me. It looks like there are lights on inside.”
Josie: “There’s only one way to find out!”
Jaina: “I really don’t know about this. I’m getting the creeps just walking up to this part of town already.”
Josie: “What’s your problem, spoilsport? Afraid the vampires are going to get you? Hahaha! We’re almost at the abandoned house. Come on, it’s going to be fun sneaking around!”
Picking out jobs! I chose the Detective career for Link because there is a lot of puzzle-solving in the Legend of Zelda games. I chose the politician career for Zelda for a reason which should be obvious, haha. Zelda’s cause will be to Speak for the Trees.
I placed the Legendary family in a starter apartment. I could have placed them in a more fantasy-styled setting, but I want to play with San Myshuno apartments, dang it!

Zelda Legendary
Aspiration: Freelance Botanist
Traits: Vegetarian, Cheerful, Loves Outdoors, Collector
She doesn’t want to look at the camera when she takes selfies, lol. She also looks more like Cersei Lannister than Zelda, but that’s fair considering she’s wearing Cersei’s hair from the Game of Thrones Telltale game, hahaha.

Link Legendary
Aspiration: The Curator
Traits: Active, Ambitious, Kleptomaniac, Collector
He doesn’t really look like Link, but I doubt many members of this family are going to end up looking like him either anyways, lol.
I am obsessed with The Legend of Zelda franchise right now. It’s because I am not-so-patiently waiting for my pre-ordered Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to arrive. I decided to make a new sim family that will follow different incarnations of Link and Zelda through a family legacy so that I can play with these icon characters when I’m torn between playing Zelda and TS4, hahaha.
The way this is going to work is that the first born male or female who resembles Link or Zelda will be named heir or heiress. Then, once the heir/heiress becomes an adult, they must go out and find their partner among the townies. This means that the townie must have the hair and eye colour that matches a version of Zelda or Link from the Legend of Zelda series. They don’t have to have similar facial features because that would be next to impossible!
I might have a few gender-bending generations thrown in for fun where Link is female or Zelda is male. There might even be a few gaps where we skip a Link or Zelda for a generation too, just to shake things up. This is sort of going to be a perfect genetics family legacy challenge either way. I’m going to track how many Links and Zeldas I get through by adding Roman numerals (I, II, III, etc.) to their name each time a new Link or Zelda is born into the family.
As for the lifespan setting, that will probably be set to long or might be turned completely off. I just want to really take my time with this family. ❤
A game that games together, stays together. ^_~
