Do you think it will be possible to recreate that amazing ass lighting set up in cas to be in the world? (whether it’s modding the lighting or just using lights in the game) I reaaaalllyyy like the way It looks

Yep, it’s certainly possible to recreate it ingame! You just have to follow the three point lighting method, which is what CAS uses as well.

You basically have three different lights, the key, the fill, and the back/rim light:

  • The key light is the brightest light and illuminates the subject the most. 
  • The fill is a bit more diffused but it’s purpose is to brighten the shadow on the subject that the key light creates. 
  • The back/rim light is meant to create a thin outline around the edge of the subject and separates it from the rest of the background.

Lylliannah Rose is getting a separate post because has changed the most. She how has peacock-coloured hair with white and teal eyes. Her middle name is changing from Rose to Lysytsya. She has a new twin sister named Lydiannah Zayets Iristra. She differs from Lylli not only in hair colour, but her eye colour is slightly different as well.

Some background: I gave Lylli and Lydia Ukrainian middle names because it’s a part of my family heritage in RL. Lysytsya (лисиця) is the Ukrainian word for fox and it’s one of my favourite Ukrainian words. It was originally one of Violet’s middle names, but I could never decide on the English spelling of it, haha. It seems that most people agree it’s “lysytsya”, so that’s what I’ll go with! Zayets (заєць) is also Ukrainian and it means “hare” (but it’s actually spelled with an apostrophe in English: zayets’). This was also one of Violet’s middle names at one point, lol. Sorry, Violet! At least you got to keep one of your Ukrainian names. “Sereda” (Середа) means Wednesday. =)

I’m going through my hair downloads and updating the Iristra family for the new year. Lylith Elixira won’t be changing much, but Alice Elixsina is going to look different. Violet’s hair colour is changing slightly, but she’s pretty much the same. Violet’s middle name has also changed because I kept changing it, lol. Her middle name is just “Sereda” now. =p
