I figured a Sims game isn’t complete without a proper same-sex pregnancy mod, so here’s one for Sims 4! 🙂
This enables the “try for baby” interaction on beds for same-sex couples (it’s only enabled on beds for now, but I’ll consider adding the other woohoo locations in a future patch).
The following issues from other same-sex pregnancy mods have been fixed:
Only one sim will get pregnant—it’s the sim who initiates the interaction in same-sex couples, or the female sim in straight couples.
It doesn’t affect straight couples, so no more female sims impregnating their husbands!
Fixes an issue in the base game where babies are prematurely born when exiting the current zone when Get to Work isn’t installed.
Fixes the moodlet for the second trimester so it refers to a male sim as “he” and “father” (the base game assumes the pregnant sim is always a mother).
The only known issue is that elder sims (both male and female) can get pregnant. I didn’t want to take away the ability for an elder male sims to impregnate female sims, so this is the compromise. This should only be an issue if you have a mod installed that lets sims autonomously try for babies, but I’ll look in to a fix for a future patch. This will also likely conflict with other pregnancy mods (it’s been tested to work with the Pregnancy Mega Mod).
Installation
First, make sure you have Script Mods enabled in your Sims 4 game options. The mod won’t work otherwise.
You’ll need to download both Aren_SameSexPregnancy.package and Aren_SameSexPregnancy_Script.zip. The one ending in “_Script” should not be unzipped. Move both the package and the zipped script mod to your Mods folder, and you should be good to go.
Credit to Nukael on MTS for the Pregnancy for Everyone mod (which was based on AgonistAgent’s Babies For Everyone! mod). This makes me so happy! Finally a same-sex pregnancy mod that I can just leave installed. I uninstalled it right after Lydia and Fawn had their babies because I was worried that my female sims would start impregnating their husbands, hahaha. ❤
We know it’s only been a short while since our most recent release. We have just a small update here as we are getting ready for the up and coming release of
Sims your household knows can call you up and invite you to some of their events!
Sims in a relationship might get a phone call to go on a date. Your child’s friends might ask them over for a play date. Or your “ready to age up, but not yet aged up” friends can call to ask you join them for their birthday party*.
*If you have aging turned off in the options panel, this will not invalidate that option. However, if you attend the birthday party, the Sim throwing the party will age up as a result of the party.
And we addressed a couple… well I mean, a couple is two, right? Yea, and a few is more than a couple, while some is more than a few? And several is greater than… yea ok, I got it. We fixed “some” issues. Some, yea, some is good.
“Some” Issues Fixed
We fixed an issue where the social Ask on Date was working correctly, however if you chose the same action from the Relationship Panel or the Phone, it was 100% guaranteed to succeed. The Relationship Panel and Phone options now have the same chance for success and failure as the social.
We fixed an issue that was preventing the Create a Sim tutorial from advancing properly in some cases when the Genetics panel was active.
We fixed an issue that could cause the phone to ring only when the game was paused.
We fixed a few text errors in the chance card for level four of the Writing career. Ironic?
I’m picturing a family of frozen Sims, unable to reach the ringing telephone. The parents, they’re fine, they’ve long since taught themselves to ignore the phone… the teens? The teens are silently screaming, unable to claw their way to the ringing phone. It’s a movie, called “The Unanswerable.”

here we go (finally)! today i’m sharing part 2 of my genensims birthmark tattoos, this time in bright colors + gradients! you get 12 in total, and just like part one i’ve tried to give a variety that will work for all skintones. the tattoo works for teen – elder, male & female. no skin details this time, but i am working on them!
Another Telltales Game of Thrones hair port, this time from lovely young Margaery Tyrell. Managed to keep the original feel of the texture by not going crazy with repainting details (tho that hairline is all mine). Since it`s such a unique style, I`ve decided to keep it as it is in all LODs, which means it is not hat compatible. Honestly,a formal hairstyle like this shouldn`t be hidden under a hat. Everything else is the same as with other hairs of mine – from teen to elder, all CAS colors, disabled for random.
