Lace invited Elo out for dinner. I think Elo did a pretty good job of cheering Lace up after what happened. ❤

Merlot Pinot Noir has passed away. =(
The whole family went over to the Pinot Noir house to give their condolences and say goodbye to Merlot.
Merlot invited Scarlet out to the bar for drinks. She brought Eloise along, so Lace was invited out too. Poor Lace is an elder now and I’m sad that I missed her birthday party! =(
After double-fisting some drinks, Lace went home to bed and Merlot stayed a bit longer to play Don’t Wake the Llama.
Something really funny happened here! Lace and Lot were flirting with each other, but they were both looking the wrong way so it looks like they’re both trying to flirt with a completely oblivious Scarlet. XD
Scarlet: “Are there a lot of bald people walking around town or is it just me?”
*awkward silence*
Scarlet: “Surely I’m not the only person who has noticed this weird trend.”
Lace: “I’m kinda diggin’ it, to be honest. I’m not sure that I could pull it off myself, though.”
Merlot invited Scarlet out for dinner, who invited Elo. Elo then invited Lace, which then made the dinner an Elolet-Lacelot event that made me so happy. ❤
Poppy: “Hi! Merlot said you wanted to see me?”
Lacey: “Hi, love! I want to introduce you to a friend of mine. This is Eloise Spark. She has several children around your age who you’ll be meeting when you start school in a few days.”
Poppy: “Hello, I’m Poppy Echo.”
Eloise: “Hello, Poppy Echo! It’s so nice to meet you!”
Poppy: “You can just call me Poppy. My last name is Aviary right now, but Mrs. Pinot Noir says I’m going to become a Pinot Noir one day too!”
Eloise: “Wow! That sounds pretty cool!”
Lace: “We’ve kind of…adopted someone.”
Eloise: “Wait, what?”
Lace: “A close friend of ours, a local police officer, informed us that a little girl was in need of a new home. We had always wished we had more children, but somehow the timing never seemed right. Merlot and I aren’t getting any younger, but we thought maybe we should share our home with an older child in need of a family.”
Merlot: “Just thinking about what that little girl went through makes my blood boil! How could someone just abandon a child like that?”
Lace: “Love, why don’t you go get her and then brew us some Calming Chamomile? I have a feeling we all might end up frazzled after I finish telling Elo what happened.”
Lace: “Thank you so much for coming over so soon, Elo!”
Eloise: “Of course! Is everything okay?”
Merlot: “We have someone we’d like you to meet.”
You may be an old man now, but you still look good! I might add some more wrinkles to your face so you actually look your age, though. lol ❤
