I’m going to put greater effort into completing aspirations with this generation of the Grey family. I always start off granting wishes and aspirations at the beginning, but then I quickly forget about all of the goals. 

I might even have to bring my curse back to force myself to complete the aspiration goals. I made up a little story around the time that The Sims 4 came out (which you can read here). The story was about a curse that made everyone in the entire sims world stuck at a certain age until they had completed their lifetime goal. 

I came up with the concept because I knew I’d never try to meet all of a sim’s requirements otherwise. The only reason I stopped was because some sims were getting stuck behind, so children were aging up way too quickly ahead of their parents. If I do it again, I think I’ll have to make a rule that the entire household has to complete their goals in order for anyone to age up. That will keep everyone’s ages in line.
