Cirrus: “You know what I would do in your shoes? Pack up the stuff you want to keep, sell the rest, then find a new house to start fresh in.”

Eden: “But what if mom and dad come back while I’m not here?”

Cirrus: “Let me worry about that. You just started a new career and pretty soon you might even have a new family with Adalyn. Focus on that and let me worry about the rest. I am the oldest, after all.”

Cirrus: “

It’s been three weeks now.

Just give up, Eden. Mom and dad are gone.”

Eden: “They wouldn’t leave without saying good-bye! I think they were elder-napped!”

Cirrus: “You seriously still think they were taken? What would someone want with a couple of old aliens?”

Eden: “Do you think someone picked them up in the night and took them back to our home planet? I remember them talking about accidentally breaking their employment contacts or something.”

Cirrus: “I don’t think we’ll ever know.”

Cirrus: “Hello?”

Eden: “Hi Cir, it’s Eden.”

Cirrus: “Oh, hey. What’s up?”

Eden: “Are mom and dad over there? They’ve been missing since yesterday morning and they left the house without saying a word.”

Cirrus: “No, I haven’t seen them. That’s really weird. Have you called Luna?”

Eden: “Yep! They aren’t there either. I’m starting to get really worried. What if they’ve been abducted or something?”

Cirrus: “

It wouldn’t make any sense though. I’ve never heard of aliens abducting other aliens.

However, if that is what happened the abductees always get sent back home eventually. Maybe just give it another day?”
