Dear Diary,

We had an extremely awkward family meeting today. My parents are going to live separately for a little while. They’re not getting a divorce (not yet, at least), but they’re not sure they want to be together any more either.

Mom is going to keep living at the house with grandma and grandpa, but my dad is moving to San Myshuno. Both of my parents said it would be okay for me to live with Dad because I’d be closer to school, but they said it’s my choice to make. However, How exactly am I supposed to decide between my parents?

Dear Diary,

My grandparents are always hugging and cuddling, but my parents are very different. They never spend much time together and lately I’ve noticed they barely even notice when they’re both in the same room. I don’t know if it’s because my parents are so focused on their careers or if there’s something wrong. I really hope I’m just being paranoid. After all, not every couple has to be the lovey-dovey type like my grandparents, right?

Dear Diary,

It’s been so long since I’ve written a diary entry! Today is my birthday and I’m finally not a kid anymore! My favourite birthday gift is probably the new computer from my parents. I stopped writing when I was a kid as soon as I had filled up my diary from my grandma. However, now that I have a computer, I can type my entries instead!

Dear Diary,

My family and I went camping over the weekend. It was the last weekend before my parents had to go back to work, so they wanted to have one last family outing together. Mommy’s twin sister Jayla and her family came too, so I got to play with my cousins Quince and Clementine all weekend! Grandpa didn’t come though because he doesn’t like camping very much.
