I’m so glad my mommy is so smart! The bugs wouldn’t stop bothering Dad when we were camping, but she found some herbs and made a thing for him so they’d stop. Mom made enough for everyone so that we can enjoy the outdoors without gross mosquito bites.

My family and I went camping over the weekend. It was the last weekend before my parents had to go back to work, so they wanted to have one last family outing together. Mommy’s twin sister Jayla and her family came too, so I got to play with my cousins Quince and Clementine all weekend! Grandpa didn’t come though because he doesn’t like camping very much.

My friend Yuki invited me out to The Bluffs and we ran into all our other friends there! We tried to have a swim party, but the water was too gross looking so we all went over to Yuki’s house instead.

Zayda invited me to hang out and brought me to a place called a “lounge”. I don’t think we were really supposed to be there though. There weren’t any other kids. We didn’t stay very long because I didn’t want to get in trouble.

Mommy and Daddy are taking a break from work right now and Grandma and Grandpa are retired. I wonder a lot about what they’re doing all day when I’m at school. Probably boring adult stuff.

I just found out that there’s all kinds of cool stuff to find outside! I found two toys inside boxes after breaking open some rocks and a couple of frogs in an old wooden log. I can’t believe people just leave these treasures there.

After the fire, I get scared every time someone uses the oven. I think my daddy is scared too because he’s only had oatmeal since it happened. My mom is brave though. She’s cooking dinner using the oven tonight.
Dear Diary,
Grandma set herself on fire this morning when she was making breakfast. Everyone just stood there and didn’t help. Even me…I was too scared. Grandma had to put the fire out herself because no one would move and do anything to help her.

Today I played at the park with my friends Zayda, Yuki, Clementine, and Quince. Clem and Quin are my cousins, but they are my friends too!
We all play pirate a lot at the playground, but I like playing aliens at the spaceship playground more. One time I met a cool girl named Eloise there. She has the best alien costume ever. It looks very real. The spaceship is too far to walk to though, so I don’t get to go there very much.
